costa aguilera 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago
hi all,
I have a plot of land in Costa Aguilera, does anyone know firstly about planning there.i.e. licences. I'm aware that it is likely to be ready in 6 months! I'm hoping to start the project within 2 years, I have an archtect, but will be lookng for other trades and help, and advice. Although I hope to build most of it myself as that is my trade.

Dear Alan,

I work at Inmobiliaria Lingwood and we specialise in selling villas on the coast in 5 residential areas including Costa Aguilera (Mar/Alta). Our understanding is that at this time and (indeed for the last 18 years) it has not been possible to obtain planning permission from the Town Hall in Salobrena for any new properties in Costa Aguilera. At this time the only residential area for villas in these areas where you can obtain permission is Monte de los Almendros.

We have do have a number of plots for sale on Monte de los Almendros and this morning we signed a contract for a small plot on the hillside here for a Spanish couple who are keen to build something but we do not sell plots on the other Urbanisations (Aguilera, Pargo, Alfamar) as the clients we deal with want to know that it is/will be possible to obtain permission as this obviously affects the value.

The first thing I would do is ask the Town Hall about the possibility of obtaining a building licence before incurring any further expenses. I am sorry to be the bearer of potentially bad news but do hope that you find a solution.

If you wish to contact us my email is This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

Best of luck and I hope you can resolve this.
